About Us
VK Brewing Co. & Eatery is a veteran-owned brewery, taproom, and restaurant located at the historic Ship Inn building in Exton, PA. We have hand-crafted beer (brewed on site), craft cocktails, a full bar, and a full menu of delicious food in a friendly atmosphere. We are committed to making great drinks and great food so you can have a great time!
Our Founders
We are Jason Van Keuren and Najib Abiaad and we are VK Brewing!
Jason grew up near Allentown, PA and after graduating high school, he enlisted in the US Navy where he spent 6 years working for the Navy Intelligence division in computer security. It was at a Navy base in Europe where Jason got his first taste for craft beer. In 2000, Jason was honorably discharged from the Navy and moved back to the Philadelphia area.
In 2017, Jason began brewing beer as a hobby but it soon turned into a passion and VK Brewing was born! His basement was converted into a small brewery, with an eight-tap kegerator made from a chest freezer. On Halloween, you can find Jason in the driveway handing out candy to the children and serving his latest beers to the grown ups.
Najib grew up in the Pocono area where he spent his childhood in a kitchen surrounded by his family cooking. His passion for cooking stems from his Lebanese roots and the long line of chefs on both sides of his family. He spent a lot of time at his uncle's bar/restaurant where he got his first taste of the restaurant industry.
By 17, Najib left his home to become an apprentice in the pizza industry and by 20 became a co-owner of his first pizzeria. For the next 15 years, he dedicated his life to building a successful business and becoming a pillar in his community.
In 2020, Najib faced an uncertain time, with the COVID pandemic. He ended up increasing revenue by 25%, making sure his employees kept their jobs, and ensuring that customers felt comfortable ordering out. In 2021, Najib made the decision to walk away from his partnership at the pizzeria.
In 2021, Jason and Najib met at a neighborhood party where Jason was serving his beer. They hit it off immediately and a spark ignited for the two to work together. Both Jason and Najib are meticulous about their craft, and will bring the highest quality beer and food, literally, to the table. Their goal is to create a family-friendly environment, a home away from home, where people can gather and enjoy a hand-crafted beer paired perfectly with a delicious meal.

Do you take reservations?
We do not take advanced reservations. We do offer call-ahead wait listing during our busy times. Give is a call at 484-873-3199 up to an hour before your arrival and if there is a wait, we will put you on our list to minimize any wait once you arrive. In most cases we will have a table ready for you by the time you get here.
Are you open for lunch?
Yes we are! We're open Tue - Sun, 11am to 11pm. We are closed on Mondays.

Do you have takeout?
Yes we do! Order Online or give us a call at 484-873-3199 to place your order! We'll have it ready for you to pick up!

Yes, we have Gift Cards available for sale here at the brewery and online.
Do you sell merchandise?
Yes, we have t-shirts, hats, sweatshirts and hoodies available for sale at our hostess counter. If you are dining with us, just ask your server.
